UZH Card

Guest ID Card

Individuals who provide a service to the University of Zurich but who are not on the University's payroll can benefit from a UZH Guest Card. It serves as ID throughout the University, as a pass to receive special prices in the cafeterias, and, if required, can function as an electronic access key.

Please note that only the access delegate (DZB) may place an order for a UZH Access Card. Your access delegate is the employee responsible for all access matters at your UZH unit. In addition to managing the cards, access delegates also are responsible for issuing keys, applying for access rights, and managing the various access media.

Personalized or Non-Personalized Guest ID

There are two types of guest ID:


UZH Guest Card, the personalized UZH guest ID with a photo
UZH Access Card, the non-personalized UZH guest ID without a photo
