UZH Guest Card


The UZH Guest Card is the University's personalized guest ID card. The card serves as general ID throughout the University (ID control), is a pass to receive special prices in the cafeterias, and, if required, can function as an electronic access key. In addition, holders of a UZH Guest Card can apply for ASVZ membership.

Eligibility to Receive a UZH Guest Card

  • Visitors who are service providers to UZH, but who are not on the UZH payroll.
  • Visitors staying longer than three months at UZH.

A UZH Guest Card is recommended in the following situations:

  • Visitors requiring electronic access to buildings and facilities at UZH
  • Visitors using the University's infrastructure (IT services, telephony, cafeterias, etc.
