Change of Name

If your name changes due to marriage, divorce, etc., a new card will be issued. Student Services will send you your new UZH Card within two to three weeks of receiving your replacement card order.

Process for Students

Confirm your change of name (see also Changing Contact and Personal Details) at the Student Administration Office personally or per e-mail (please include student ID number).

Process for Staff

Confirm the change in your personal details or address (via an official document such as a passport or ID card for name changes) to the HR officer for your unit (department, institute, clinic, office).

Teaching staff are requested to contact: Human Resources
Professors are requested to contact: Professorships Departement

Process for persons with a UZH Guestcard
Notify the UZH card office by e-mail of any change in your personal data such as name or address (in the case of a change of name with an official document such as a passport or ID).
